3. FEATURES

3.1 Volume Limiting for Safe Listening

ICON 180 has a built-in volume limiter that caps output at 85 dB, helping protect young listeners' hearing during extended use. Volume is still adjusted from your connected device — the limiter simply sets a safe ceiling on how loud it can go.

3.2 Adjustable, Foldable Design

The headband adjusts from 12 to 18 cm to comfortably fit growing kids.

Cushioned ear pads help keep ICON 180 comfortable during extended wear.

A foldable hinge lets the headphones collapse down for easy packing in a school bag, backpack, or travel case.

3.3 Built-In Mic

The in-line mic lets you take hands-free calls right from the cable — answer, end, or reject calls using the MFB without ever touching your device.

4. TROUBLESHOOTING

I'm not getting any sound.

1.      Make sure the 3.5mm connector is fully plugged into both the headphones and your device.

2.      Check that your device's volume is turned up and not muted — remember, volume is controlled by your device, not the headphones.

3.      Try connecting ICON 180 to a different device to help determine whether the issue is with the headphones or the original device.

I'm hearing static or a crackling sound.

1.      Check the 3.5mm connector and headphone jack for any dust or debris, and gently wipe both clean.

2.      Inspect the cable for any visible damage or fraying.

3.      Try a different audio source to see if the issue persists.

The MFB isn't responding.

1.      Confirm the cable is fully plugged into your device.

2.      Some devices only support certain MFB functions depending on the app or content playing — try testing with your device's default music or phone app.

If problems persist after trying the steps above, please contact Skullcandy Customer Service before filing a warranty claim.
