"ANC is awesome, but the bass just isn’t enough. Compared to the Skullcandy Crusher Evos, the amount of bass on the Evos actually used to hurt my ears sometimes. The 1080s are great for daily use, but if you wanna enjoy bass-heavy music, sometimes they just don’t feel bassy enough, so I switch back to my Evos when I’m in the mood for more bass."
"These headphones are made to be played loud. The bass hits hard and deep without completely drowning out the rest of the sound. I mainly use them for gaming and the immersion is fantastic, especially with engine sounds, deep V8 rumble and turbo noise. They’re comfortable, powerful and just fun to listen to. If you like your audio with some serious punch, these deliver."
"I love the Crusher 1080 a lot! I have the whole range from Skullcandy headphones and love the 1080 the most! It has a little less crusher bass then the EVO series but I didn’t use the full EVO power anyway. It’s more in balance now."
"Great headphones overall. The bass is strong to the point of being almost ridiculous, but I love that. The physical controls are a real highlight too. Sound quality is excellent, though not right out of the box. You'll need to spend some time tweaking your audio source and the Skullcandy app, but once you dial it in, it sounds fantastic. Battery life is impressive as well, I can easily go a full week on a single charge. Love the pads quality and feel. A couple of things to note: they're on the heavier side, and there's an annoying software quirk where the headphones don't remember your last ANC setting, they always default to ANC on when powered on."
"I am using it every day and the sound quality its amazing and the functions too, the only problem that i have its that the wear detect sometimes fails and i’m not using any type of accessories or anything like that. But for the rest, they are so freaking cool and i love them so much"

"The headphones are awesome! Only thing that's lacking is software optimization. On my Android phone, Spotify sounds way more quiet and has almost no bass but if you listen to the same song on another platform suddenly everything changes. I checked all settings, there's not much more I can do. Sad, but I'm hoping that a future update might fix this!"
