"ANC is awesome, but the bass just isn’t enough. Compared to the Skullcandy Crusher Evos, the amount of bass on the Evos actually used to hurt my ears sometimes. The 1080s are great for daily use, but if you wanna enjoy bass-heavy music, sometimes they just don’t feel bassy enough, so I switch back to my Evos when I’m in the mood for more bass."

"Every time I change the ANC/stay aware settings slide button, the bass wheel moves with it by the slightest breeze of air. Sometimes the bass wheel even moves up/down just with shocks of me for example laying down on a bench in the gym… It’s also difficult to change the volume or skip a song Without pressing the play/pause button…"

"I love the Crusher 1080 a lot! I have the whole range from Skullcandy headphones and love the 1080 the most! It has a little less crusher bass then the EVO series but I didn’t use the full EVO power anyway. It’s more in balance now."

"The sound quality and headset quality itself is 10/10. But unfortunately from a software developer perspective it annoys me that it doesn't save all previous user settings: Bose QuietControl defaults to ANC. Every other setting is stored on the device, why not the last setting? Seems like a small oversight, but really annoying having to set it to: "Stay Aware", everytime you start it up."

"Disappointed. Was expecting crusher bass with bose sound quality but instead got bose sound quality with only a tiny fraction of boss base. Used to have the first crushers, the first wireless crushers, the anc crushers and they all have a lot more crusher bass than the 1080. False advertisement. Very disapointed. Killed the main feature of crusher headphones. Wouldn’t buy again."

"Great headphones overall. The bass is strong to the point of being almost ridiculous, but I love that. The physical controls are a real highlight too. Sound quality is excellent, though not right out of the box. You'll need to spend some time tweaking your audio source and the Skullcandy app, but once you dial it in, it sounds fantastic. Battery life is impressive as well, I can easily go a full week on a single charge. Love the pads quality and feel. A couple of things to note: they're on the heavier side, and there's an annoying software quirk where the headphones don't remember your last ANC setting, they always default to ANC on when powered on."
