FAQs

What makes Aviator 900 ANC headphones perfect for music and streaming?

Aviator 900 ANC headphones bring together active noise canceling, spatial sound, and personalized audio for a premium listening experience — no matter what's playing. From jamming out to streaming TV to binging podcasts, Aviator 900 ANC is on another level.

What gives Aviator 900 ANC headphones next-level noise canceling?

Aviator 900 ANC headphones come with adaptive noise canceling (ANC) to remove outside audio. Unlike active noise canceling, which cancels sound at a fixed level, adaptive noise canceling adapts to your surroundings --- no matter how noisy or chatoic.

Aviator 900 ANC uses six built-in microphones that detect surrounding noise, then emits audio signals to cancel out distractions and background audio. And if the noise around you changes, your headphone will automatically adjust to block outside sounds.

The result? Crystal clear audio, without interruptions.

What gives Aviator 900 ANC headphones truly immersive sound?

Skullcandy has partnered with THX® to bring next-level immersive audio to our Aviator 900 ANC headphones.

THX® Spatial Audio detects your position and movement through Head Tracking, creating a soundscape that responds to you.

Go beyond surround sound with hyperrealistic, 360° audio — powered by THX® technology.

How long does the battery life on Aviator 900 ANC headphones last?

Aviator 900 ANC headphones come with 60 hours of battery life, giving you days of listening on a single charge. Finally out of battery? With rapid charge, you get 4 hours worth of battery in only 10 minutes.

How can I turn on or turn off adaptive noise canceling on my Aviator 900 ANC headphones?

To turn Adaptive Noise Canceling off, follow these steps:
1. Download the Skullcandy App
2. Connect the headphones to the app
3. On the Product Configuration screen, scroll down to Active Noise Canceling
4. Toggle the Adaptive ANC On/Off switch to disable/enable.

How can I personalize the audio on my Aviator 900 ANC headphones?

There are several ways to adjust audio to your liking. Referring to the Personal Sound by Mimi features, through the Skullcandy App, you can take a hearing test in the app that generates a hearing profile unique to your hearing. This is Personal Sound by Mimi.
1. Download the Skullcandy App
2. Connect the headphones to the app
3. On the Product Configuration screen, find the Personal Sound tile
4. Hit Create Your Profile button and start the quick hearing test.
5. When you complete your hearing test and have a Personal Hearing ID, you can adjust the levels of your personalized sound profile up or down in intensity, and depending on your hearing, you may have an option to make the sound profile softer or richer as well.
With Personal Sound by Mimi, you can hear sounds you never knew you were missing -- hear the music like artists intend!

I love this headphone a

"I love this headphone a lot, it’s stylish and I like aviation stuff and the design is so cool, only thing that is negative, it’s uncomfortable to lay down on but that’s mostly cause it’s an over ear headphone. Thank you"

— Arline E. (5/5)

Amazing headphones! Look absolutely stunning,

"Amazing headphones! Look absolutely stunning, they sound incredible, and the box presented them really nicely! They're great everyday headphones, theyre comfy, good build, and great for getting asked “What are those?” 10/10 headphone! They do have a slightly up and down in the bass, like it struggles on bass a bit, I hope this gets fixed on software updates. But all around? Banging cans for 149!"

— Zachary N. (5/5)

This is a hit and

"This is a hit and miss!! The aviator 900 anc. is not as good as the crusher headphones. Yes the quality of sound is great. when you have got perfect hearing. But the volume is up very high! Just to get the same sound as the crusher headphones. And the bass is not so bass’s. By turning your head left and right can be an issue. As walking it can stay on one side then back again. I can say the feel of the headphones is beautiful and comfortable it’s sits so nicely on your ears and listen to it is good. But I found the volume and bass is not as great as the crusher anc 2. Now I will tell you this. I’m partly deaf. Very bad of hearing. Your skull candy crusher anc 2 is the best!! Why oh’my as sulu us to say. The base is great the sound is very beautiful the volume is half way down so it’s not loud but loud enough. I am happy with it and if I had better hearing the sound quality would be great?👍 I do hope this will help you 🤪👍"

Terrible. Genuinely frustrated that in

"Terrible. Genuinely frustrated that in under a year they already no longer work as intended. Having only one earcup work means it is rendered useless. Revise the design."

— Miguel-Alec S. (1/5)

Not impressed the anc is

"Not impressed the anc is worse than the crusher anc2 and the sound quality is not what you expect for the price"

— Oscar S. (1/5)

Lack Volume. Wearing them for

"Lack Volume. Wearing them for a long period with glasses isn't the most comfortable thing as well. They're ok but for 300euro the should be more than just ok."
