I bought mine about 6 and a half weeks ago, and they’ve already quit working. So I took them back up to bestbuy, they tell me that I’ll have to contact the manufacturer so I come to their website and fill out the warranty claim form and now I’m going to have to pay to ship them back. So the broken product is now going to cost me more money. I should’ve paid attention to all of the negative reviews, but I’ve had other skullcandy products in the past that were great.
Absolutely love them. I've been a Skullcandy customer for years an have always loved the quality of their products for the price and the Method BT Sport are no different. I've had them for about a year now and haven't had any issues. I use them mainly while at work so the sweat resistance is great. The other feature is the 9 hour battery. I turn them on when I get to work and they are still on when I get home 10 hours later since I don't play music through them non-stop. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good wireless earbud.
My boyfriend bought me these headphones because I hate cords in my way while I'm working out. At first I loved them! They stay in your ear very well and they have great volume and bass. However, after using them at the gym maybe 4 or 5 times they completely stopped charging. I took them in and exchanged them for a new pair because I thought maybe I just got a pair that malfunctioned and I wanted to give them another shot; I should have just gotten my money back. The second pair I got the same exact thing happened. I think I used them maybe 3 times and when I was getting ready to go to the gym I tried to turn them on and they were dead. I used a different set of headphones and put these ones on the charger, when I returned from the gym they were still charging so I tried to turn them on to see if they had ANY power in them. The little voice said "power on" and then immediately said "power off" so I let them charge a little longer. By the next day they still were not working so I just tried taking them into Best Buy but it was passed the 30 day mark. So I'm waiting to hear back from Skullcandy to try and get a refund. But I 10/10 do not recommend these headphones. Pieces of crap TBH.
I purchased these to run in and they hit my collar bone with each step. Super painful.
The meme "Sounds good, doesn't work" perfectly describes this headset. When it worked, the sound quality was good for the price. The thing is, it wouldn't last. I've gone through three pairs now. I got the second pair as a result of a warranty claim because the left ear bud on the first died after a month. The second pair stopped working after two months; pretty sure it was a battery issue because the LED would light up like it was charging but would not turn on after unplugging it. I didn't file a warranty claim on the second because I wasn't about to pay for shipping again for another pair that was more than likely going to die after a couple months. The third pair I got as a gift, and that one went out the same way the second pair did, this time only after a month.
